Job summary

ETS Consulting Ltd in Bilston is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to lead a team on continental shifts, focusing on electrical and mechanical maintenance across extrusion and drawing equipment. You will drive PPM schedules, fault find Siemens PLCs, and ensure production continuity.

The ideal candidate has an apprentice-trained electrical background with 17th/18th Edition, HNC preferred, and a track record of working with automated machinery in a manufacturing environment.

The Role

The company require an electrical maintenance engineer who can lead a team of engineers & work on PPM schedules, working a continental shift pattern. The candidate will have a minimum of a time served electrical apprenticeship with 17th or 18th Edition, ideally qualified to HNC and must be able to PLC fault find & interrogation on Siemens PLCs. The role is electrical biased, and will involve leading a team of engineers, on shift, with some multi-skilling and the work will be electrical and mechanical with a variety of production process machinery in use, such as extrusion and drawing equipment hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, gearboxes, and bearings. On going training and support within this highly focused group will give the right candidate an opportunity to progress into larger roles within this long-standing group.
