Job summary

Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick (BBK) is seeking an Electrical QC Inspector to support MEH Alliance on the Hinkley Point C project. You will monitor quality across electrical works, ensure compliance with ITPs and documentation, and liaise with client representatives to uphold safety and workmanship standards.

The role requires NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation and a Gold JIB Electrical Grade Card, with experience on major infrastructure projects and a collaborative alliance environment

Qualifications

• NVQ or SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• Gold JIB Electrical Grade Card.
• Competency-based interview completed.
• Strong understanding of electrical installation quality requirements.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections in accordance with ITPs.
• Monitor compliance with project quality standards, procedures and specs.
• Raise non-conformance reports and quality observations.
• Liaise with client representatives during construction inspection activities.
• Review drawings, specs and code requirements for compliance.
• Maintain LTQRs and inspection documentation.
