Job summary

Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick (BBK) is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Planner to support the Hinkley Point C project. You will develop and maintain detailed electrical schedules, including four-week lookahead plans, and ensure alignment with programme milestones.

The role requires planning experience in construction, an engineering HNC and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams; BPSS eligibility is preferred and will be considered in security screening.

Qualifications

• HNC in Engineering required.
• Planning experience in construction environments.
• Ability to develop and maintain detailed construction schedules.
• Experience analyzing progress against milestones and program goals.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Electrical Level 5 construction schedules.
• Prepare and update four-week lookahead plans.
• Align schedules with 16-week lookahead and milestones.
• Define activity-level progress and quantity measurement.
• Integrate engineering, materials, access, resources, quality and commissioning into schedules.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure readiness and identify constraints.
• Monitor progress and track installed quantities against plans.
• Produce schedule updates and productivity reports for decision-making.
