McM Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Electrical Project Manager for a well-established Electrical Contractor based in Wigan, serving projects across the North West. The role involves delivering electrical installations on residential and commercial apartment schemes, leading site managers and subcontractors, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate has SMSTS and 18th Edition qualifications, strong leadership and client liaison skills, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager.
• Experience on residential or commercial apartment schemes.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation processes, programming and site management.
• SMSTS and 18th Edition electrical qualifications (essential).
• Strong leadership, communication and commercial awareness.
• Full UK driving licence.

• Managing the delivery of electrical installations on residential/commercial apartment schemes.
• Overseeing site managers, supervisors and subcontractors across projects.
• Programming, resourcing and cost control to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget.
• Liaising with clients, main contractors and the wider project team.
• Ensuring works are completed safely, to a high standard, and in line with specification.
• Managing site documentation, progress reporting and quality control.
• Supporting the development of site management teams below you.

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Project Manager to join a well-established Electrical Contractor based in Wigan, working on projects across the North West.

The company specialises in electrical installations for apartment and residential/commercial buildings, with projects ranging from 50 to 500 bedrooms. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a growing business with a strong pipeline of work.

The Role

• Managing the delivery of electrical installations on residential/commercial apartment schemes
• Overseeing site managers, supervisors and subcontractors across projects
• Programming, resourcing and cost control to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget

Requirements
