You will coordinate site teams, subcontractors and clients, ensuring on-time delivery, adherence to budget and high safety standards across a varied portfolio of schemes.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our growing team and take responsibility for overseeing multiple commercial electrical projects from pre-construction through to successful completion.

This is a hands-on project management role suited to someone who is confident managing multiple schemes simultaneously, coordinating site teams and subcontractors, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and suppliers.

The Role

As Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of several commercial schemes, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality and safety standards.

Electrical Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Managing multiple commercial electrical projects from mobilisation through to handover.
• Planning, coordinating and monitoring project programmes and key milestones.
• Managing electrical site teams, subcontractors and specialist contractors.
• Working closely with clients, consultants, main contractors and internal teams.
• Managing project budgets, costs, variations and commercial performance.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical information.
• Coordinating procurement of materials, plant and specialist services.
• Monitoring quality, compliance and health & safety across all projects.
• Attending client and progress meetings and providing regular project updates.
• Identifying and resolving technical, commercial and programme issues.
• Managing commissioning, testing, snagging and final handover.
• Ensuring all project documentation and compliance requirements are completed.

Electrical Project Manager Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager or Senior Electrical Project Manager.
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installations and building services.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent programme, budget and subcontractor management skills.
• Strong understanding of electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• A proactive approach to problem solving and project delivery.
• Relevant electrical qualifications and/or a recognised project management qualification.
• A full UK driving licence is desirable.
