Job summary

McM Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to join an established contractor in the North West region. You will lead electrical installations on apartment schemes, coordinating site managers, supervisors and subcontractors while ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, a solid understanding of electrical installation processes, and 18th edition compliance. A full UK driving licence is essential for travel across projects in the North West.

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Project Manager to join a well-established Electrical Contractor based in Wigan, working on projects across the North West. The company specialises in electrical installations for apartment and residential/commercial buildings, with projects ranging from 50 to 500 bedrooms. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a growing business with a strong pipeline of work.

The Role

• Managing the delivery of electrical installations on residential/commercial apartment schemes
• Overseeing site managers, supervisors and subcontractors across projects
• Programming, resourcing and cost control to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget
• Liaising with clients, main contractors and the wider project team
• Ensuring works are completed safely, to a high standard, and in line with specification
• Managing site documentation, progress reporting and quality control
• Supporting the development of site management teams below you

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager
• Experience working on residential or commercial apartment schemes
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation processes, programming and site management
• SMSTS and relevant electrical qualifications (18th Edition essential)
• Strong leadership, communication and commercial awareness
• Full UK driving licence
