Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to deliver major building services packages in Newcastle on a large construction programme. You will lead electrical and MEP delivery, drive safety and quality, and collaborate across design teams and subcontractors to meet ambitious timelines.

The role requires 7+ years of building services coordination experience, strong IT and project management skills, and a proven track record on commercial and residential projects.

Qualifications

• Relevant third-level qualification in Building Services, Mechanical & Electrical, or an Electrical Trade background.
• 7+ years of building services coordination experience, ideally with main contractor exposure.
• Proven experience on commercial and residential projects with strong IT and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all phases of electrical and wider MEP project delivery: pre-construction through commissioning.
• Oversee implementation of MEP deliverables and ensure compliance with specs and requirements.
• Coordinate with design teams to secure timely, accurate technical information for installation works.
• Monitor programmes, review progress, and ensure works stay on schedule.
• Inspect electrical installations against quality plans and enforce best practices.
• Maintain the highest site safety and compliance standards at all times.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, design teams, and the overall project team.

Responsibilities
