Job summary

Avolon M&E, a busy M&E contractor, is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager for an immediate start. You will manage electrical projects from pre-construction through handover, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to safety standards across care home and healthcare sectors.

The role involves a regional workload around Fareham with occasional travel nationwide; candidates must be able to travel regularly and hold a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within building services.
• Strong knowledge of electrical regulations and technical delivery.
• Experience delivering healthcare and/or care home projects preferred.
• Willingness to travel to sites regularly; full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical projects from pre-construction through to handover.
• Ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to high safety standards.
• Coordinate with clients and site teams across South Coast and nationwide as required.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a busy and growing M&E contractor on an immediate start basis.

This role would suit someone based within one hour of Fareham (South Coast) due to a strong regional workload. Alternatively, candidates within one hour of Kettering will be considered, provided they are fully flexible to travel to the South Coast and nationwide as required.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing electrical projects from pre-construction through to final handover, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest technical and safety standards. Projects are primarily within the care home and healthcare sectors, so experience in these environments is highly desirable.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within building services
• Strong knowledge of electrical regulations and technical delivery
• Solid financial control, budget management, and commercial awareness
• Experience delivering healthcare and/or care home projects (preferred)
• Programming and project planning experience, ideally using Asta Powerproject
• Able and willing to travel to sites regularly
• Full UK driving licence
