Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to oversee LV electrical works on a range of projects across utilities, industrial and commercial sectors. The role is office based with frequent travel across East Anglia to meet clients, conduct surveys and audits, and ensure quality and on-time delivery.

You will manage finances, prepare designs and pricing, and lead site teams while ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Qualifications

• SMSTS and ECS card are essential for site safety and compliance.
• Proven track record managing electrical projects up to £2m (M&E).
• Strong planning and project management skills required.
• Experience with Building Services Contractors at a similar level.
• Broad knowledge of electrical systems and installation methods.
• Strong financial returns on projects, considering all factors.
• Excellent people management and motivation abilities.

A national M&E Contractor is looking for a motivated and committed Electrical Project Manager to join their expanding team in Kings Lynn, Norfolk.

As the Electric Project Manager, you will be delivering LV electrical works on projects across a range of sectors including utilities, industrial and commercial. The position is office based but will require frequent travel across the East Anglia region to carry out client meetings, surveys, inspections and audits.

As the Electrical Project Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Liaison with clients, supply chain, delivery teams and management.
• Survey, design and pricing against client requirements and sector standards.
• Financial management of projects including invoicing and reporting.
• Specification and ordering of materials.
• Preparation of method statements and risk assessments.
• Monitor project programme and project planning.
• Management and briefing of installation personnel.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks ensuring all works meets industry standards, regulations and client's specifications.
• Resolving installation and access issues.
• Ensure the projects are completed according to schedule and budget, undertaking effective planning.
• Completion and submission of as-installed documentation.

Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:

• You will have SMSTS, ECS card and relevant industry qualification.
• Proven track record of successfully managing electrical projects up to £2m (M&E).
• Effective planning and project management skills.
• Working for a Building Services Contractor at a similar level.
• Overall knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of electrical systems and their installation methods.
