Job summary

Robinson Brown Search Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead building services projects across sectors in the East Midlands. The role involves directing project delivery from design through commissioning, managing procurement, and ensuring safety, quality and budget adherence.

You will command 3–5 years’ relevant experience with projects ranging from £500k to £7m, supported by strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience as Electrical Building Services Project Manager or similar role (e.g., Electrical Contracts Manager).
• Experience delivering projects from £500k up to £7,000,000.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and safely.
• Manage procurement and prepare technical submissions for approvals.
• Assist in risk and method statements, and financially manage budgets.
• Lead site teams and liaise with clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Conduct regular site visits and ensure compliance with health and safety.

Electrical Project Manager - Building Services

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a highly respected Electrical Building Services contractor based in the East Midlands. The company works across multiple sectors, including commercial, office fit‑out, industrial and more, with projects ranging from £100k up to £15m. They provide a full range of electrical installation services, from design through to commissioning, and are looking to recruit an experienced manager to support their continued growth.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage projects assigned to you, ensuring that they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
• Manage the procurement of projects
• Prepare technical submissions and secure approvals
• Assist in the production of risk and method statements
• Financially manage the project and work within budgets set
• Manage the site team
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the project life cycle

Desirable Experience and Key Skills

• Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience as an Electrical Building Services Project Manager or similar role (e.g., Electrical Contracts Manager)
• Experience in successfully delivering projects ranging from £500,000 up to £7,000,000
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
