Job summary

Kier Group is seeking an Electrical Project Manager for the United Utilities AMP8 Framework in the North West region, Blackburn. You will lead end-to-end electrical delivers from design to handover across water assets and infrastructure, working with UU, designers and supply chain partners to meet programme, cost, quality, safety and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading electrical works on capital projects.
• Experience delivering capital projects in the UK water sector within AMP frameworks.
• Strong technical understanding of LV distribution, switchgear, transformers, drives, instrumentation and control interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical and EICA work packages (LV distribution, MCCs, switchgear, transformers, standby gens, UPS, drives, cabling, instrumentation, PLC/SCADA).
• Review design information for safety, buildability and compliance with UU requirements.
• Manage procurement and subcontract packages, including tender evaluation and supplier performance.
• Plan electrical shutdowns, isolation, temporary supply and handover for live assets.
• Coordinate commissioning activities: inspection, pre-commissioning, testing and energisation.
