Job summary

Equans Data Centers in the UK is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Electrical to lead on-site electrical construction for large data centre projects, including Motherwell and across the UK. The role covers inception to completion, ensuring delivery on time and to the highest standards.

You will manage a team, ensure safety and quality, drive planning, and coordinate with clients and design teams to meet project milestones and objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience with a main contractor or large subcontractor.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Electrical Services.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site electrical construction activities from start to finish.
• Manage a team to ensure conformance with quality, environmental and safety standards.
• Drive operational excellence and provide expert technical guidance.
• Coordinate the on-site construction process with the plan and schedule.
• Develop electrical submission and approval processes with client and design team.
• Support overall planning and programming of the build.
• Attend site meetings and contribute to progress reports.
• Chair and minute subcontractor meetings.
• Record and report key metrics to the team and management.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and safety.
• Adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety Policy and plans.
