Job summary

Equans Data Centres is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Electrical to lead on-site construction for data centre projects in Motherwell and across the UK. You will manage teams, drive safety, coordinate activities with clients and design teams, and ensure delivery aligns with programme.

Qualifications

• Experience with main contractor or large subcontractor environments.
• Strong leadership and team development abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of Electrical Services systems and design.
• Ability to solve problems and drive improvements.
• Desire to continually develop knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site mechanical construction activities from start to finish.
• Manage a team to ensure quality, safety and environmental standards.
• Drive operational excellence and provide expert technical guidance.
• Coordinate and control on-site construction to progress with the plan.
• Develop and agree electrical submission and approval processes with client and design team.
• Support overall programming and planning of the build.
• Attend site meetings, communicate progress, and prepare progress reports.
• Chair and minute subcontractor meetings.
• Record and report key metrics to the team and management.
• Review procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Fulfil Health & Safety responsibilities per company policies.
