Equans Data Centers is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Mechanical to lead on-site mechanical construction activities for large-scale data centre projects in High Wycombe and across the UK.

You will manage a team, ensure quality, safety, and environmental standards are met, and provide expert technical guidance to keep projects on time and within budget. Prior experience in data centres and with main contractors is preferred.

Formación

• Experience with a main contractor or large subcontractor is essential.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Mechanical Services.
• Ability to solve problems with practical solutions.
• Self-motivated with good organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Customer-focused with effective client communication.
• Attention to Health and Safety matters.
• Commercial awareness and ability to work commercially.
• Data centres sector experience desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Lead on-site mechanical construction activities from start to finish.
• Manage a team to ensure work meets quality, environmental and safety standards.
• Provide expert technical guidance and drive operational excellence.
• Coordinate and control on-site construction to progress with the plan.
• Develop and agree electrical submission and approval processes with client and design team.
• Support overall programming and planning of the build.
• Attend site meetings and provide information for progress reports.
• Chair and minute subcontractor meetings.
• Record and report key metrics to the team and management.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and health and safety compliance.
