Job summary

Equans Data Centres is recruiting a Site Supervisor – Electrical for a project-based role around High Wycombe. The role will supervise electrical works, manage on-site teams and subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality across the programme.

Ideal candidates will have site supervision experience within electrical engineering, be self-motivated and client-focused, and able to coordinate with project managers to drive on-site efficiency and delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience working with a main contractor or large subcontractor.
• Experience from an electrical engineering background.
• Site supervisor experience.
• Desire to continually develop knowledge further.
• Self-motivated with proven organisational ability and ability to meet deadlines.
• Customer focused with ability to communicate with contractors and clients.
• Able to work and support a busy construction team.
• Attention to Health and Safety matters.
• Commercially astute.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical and commissioning activities on site.
• Coordinate and lead electrical teams and subcontractors to meet project goals.
• Monitor quality and progress of works against project plans and drawings.
• Manage resources, materials and site logistics to maximise efficiency.
• Manage labour and resource on site.
• Liaise with project managers and engineers to communicate status and issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
• Maintain accurate site documentation including reports, permits and inspections.
• Managing the day to day activities on site and ensuring the programme of works is defined between all contractors for upcoming activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in site execution, labour utilisation and resource management.
