Job summary

Equans Data Centers in High Wycombe seeks an experienced Site Supervisor – Electrical to oversee electrical works on a project site. You will supervise commissioning activities, lead installation engineers and subcontractors, and ensure work aligns with technical specs, safety standards and schedules.

The role demands strong leadership, on-site coordination, and a proactive approach to site safety and documentation to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Experience working with a main contractor or large subcontractor.
• Electrical engineering background.
• Site supervisor experience.
• Desire to continually develop knowledge.
• Self-motivated with strong organisational ability and deadline focus.
• Customer-focused with effective communication with contractors and clients.
• Ability to support a busy construction team.
• Attention to Health and Safety matters.
• Commercially astute.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical and commissioning activities on site.
• Coordinate and lead electrical teams and subcontractors to meet project goals.
• Monitor quality and progress of works against project plans and drawings.
• Manage resources, materials and site logistics to maximise efficiency.
• Liaise with project managers and engineers to communicate status and issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
• Maintain accurate site documentation including reports, permits and inspections.
• Manage day-to-day activities on site and ensure the programme of works is defined between all contractors for upcoming activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in site execution, labour utilisation and resource management.
