Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager for a flagship data centre project in Leeds on a permanent basis. The role requires leadership of electrical construction activities and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver on time, safely and to spec.

Applicants should have a degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management, 5+ years in similar roles, and proven experience on data centres or large-scale commercial ventures.

Qualifications

• Degree, HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical construction management.
• Experience on data centre or large-scale projects required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all electrical construction activities across the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, UK regulations and safety requirements.
• Coordinate electrical installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Lead subcontractors and suppliers to meet project objectives.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical and commissioning teams for delivery.
• Monitor progress, resources and budgets; report to senior management.
• Review drawings, specs and changes; identify improvements and VE.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and quality checks.
• Drive safety, quality and high performance across the team.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation to minimise delays.
