Job summary

Galliford Try Group is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join the Environment team. The role is based in the North East with flexibility for site travel across the region, supporting water industry projects within the AMP8 framework.

You will report to the Project or Delivery Manager, manage project activities, review designs, conduct on-site inspections and coordinate procurement and client meetings to ensure quality and successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrical engineer with site delivery experience.
• Willingness to travel across multiple sites within the region.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular programme updates with planners.
• Review engineering designs and support on-site inspections.
• Manage procurement of materials and coordinate with commercial teams.
• Attend client meetings and ensure delivery quality across projects.
• Oversee full lifecycle of electrical works from concept to completion.
