Job summary

Galliford Try is seeking an Assistant Project Engineer (Electrical) to join our Environment team in Bournemouth. You will support wastewater and water schemes across the South West, coordinating between site teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure safety, quality and delivery within programme.

A strong electrical background and relevant engineering qualification are essential. You will work on site, helping with planning, documentation, design input and progress meetings while adhering to

Qualifications

• Proven electrical engineering background and relevant qualification.
• Experience working in multi-site environments is desirable.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Support full project lifecycle from planning to handover.
• Develop and manage construction phase documentation.
• Engage with subcontractors during design and build stages.
• Facilitate client and stakeholder communications for scheduling and delivery.
• Attend design, progress and site meetings and monitor progress.
• Contribute to financial reporting (e.g., Cost to Complete, budgets).
• Use the company’s CDE to follow delivery processes.
