Job summary

Galliford Try Group in Bournemouth is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead environmental projects within the Wessex Water AMP8 framework. You will drive programme, cost, safety and environmental performance across multiple wastewater schemes, while mentoring staff and engaging with clients.

You will manage projects under NEC contracts, ensuring compliance with regulations and delivering on KPIs. A strong leadership style and proactive stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• An industry applicable ONC/HNC/B.Eng or NVQ equivalent.
• H&S qualifications desirable.
• Demonstrable NEC contract experience and linked governance.

Responsibilities

• Manage project delivery outputs including programme, finances, safety and environment.
• Lead and develop staff, recruit and mentor junior members.
• Interface with client representatives professionally.
• Maintain awareness of NEC contract conditions and commercial aspects.
• Oversee multiple projects to meet KPIs/PIs within framework.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, CDM and environmental laws.
• Prepare RAMS, process impact assessments and environmental compliance.
