Job summary

Galliford Try Group is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer for its Environment business in the Bournemouth/Dorchester area. The role covers full lifecycle electrical works on water projects, with site presence at pumping stations, dosing systems and chlorination plants across the Wessex Water Frameworks.

You’ll support project delivery, liaising with Project Managers and planners, and travel to regional sites to ensure safe, efficient operations while upholding company standards.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification in your chosen discipline.
• Water industry experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Providing regular programme updates in collaboration with Planners
• Reviewing and supporting the development of engineering designs
• Conducting on-site inspections
• Managing the procurement of materials
• Coordinating with commercial teams and attending client meetings
• Supporting consistent delivery and quality across all aspects of the project
