Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Electrical Production Manager Lead to oversee a busy manufacturing operation. You will drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery while coaching teams across engineering, design, and operations.

This hands‑on role combines strategic planning with day‑to‑day leadership, championing continuous improvement and performance metrics in electrical production. You’ll collaborate with Project, Sales, QHSE, HR and finance to shape future production capability.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical engineering knowledge and experience.
• Good understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
• Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience driving continuous improvement and process optimisation.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.
• Knowledge of quality, health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Management qualification such as ILM or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing the day‑to‑day electrical production operation.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency and profitability.
• Managing production planning to meet customer requirements.
• Coaching, mentoring and developing production teams.
• Collaborating closely with Design, Projects, Sales, Finance, QHSE and HR departments.
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Overseeing resource planning, subcontractors and production schedules.
• Leading production meetings and ensuring actions are completed effectively.
• Supporting project handovers, client inspections, factory acceptance tests and installation readiness.
• Contributing to strategic planning and operational improvements across the wider business.
