Tec Partners Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Panel Wirer/Builder for a full-time role in Braintree, Essex. You will build and wire distribution panels, working from schematics and drawings to deliver high-quality electrical assemblies.

Applicants should have proven panel-wiring experience, be able to read electrical drawings, and work independently with attention to detail. Salary is £32,000 per annum with permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in electrical panel wiring and panel building.
• Experience with low-voltage, 400VAC distribution panels.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
• Strong understanding of electrical components and cable termination.

Responsabilités

• Build and wire electrical distribution panels and assemblies.
• Work from schematics, diagrams and technical drawings.
• Install and wire circuit breakers, switchgear, busbars and terminals.
• Cut, crimp, terminate and route cables.
• Carry out continuity, insulation resistance and functional testing.

Electrical Panel Wirer / Builder

Location: Braintree, Essex

We're recruiting for an experienced Electrical Panel Wirer / Builder to join an established electrical manufacturing business in Braintree.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in electrical panel building, who can confidently work from technical drawings and take ownership of high-quality electrical assemblies.

You'll be working on a mixture of standard and bespoke low-voltage distribution panels, where attention to detail, technical ability and quality workmanship are essential.

This role requires someone who can hit the ground running, work independently and consistently deliver high-quality electrical assemblies.

What you'll be doing

• Building and wiring electrical distribution panels and assemblies.
• Working from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
• Installing and wiring circuit breakers, switchgear, busbars, contactors and terminals.
• Cutting, crimping, terminating and routing cables.
• Carrying out continuity, insulation resistance and functional testing.
• Identifying and resolving wiring or assembly issues.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience in electrical panel wiring or panel building is essential.
• Experience working with low-voltage, 400VAC distribution panels.
• Confident reading and interpreting electrical schematics and drawings.
• Strong understanding of electrical components, cable termination and busbars.
• Good mechanical assembly skills and experience using workshop tools.
