Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to establish and grow an M&E business unit across Cornwall. The role offers £65,000 to £80,000 plus package and suits an experienced electrical contracts professional.

You will deliver schemes up to £3m across healthcare, education and commercial sectors, lead a local team, and build client relationships with main contractors while ensuring safety, budgets and programme targets are met.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Electrical Contracts or Operations Manager within the building services sector.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation and design principles.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multiple projects with values up to £3m, across healthcare, education and commercial sectors.
• Manage safety, budgets and programme targets; develop client relationships with main contractors.
• Recruit, lead and develop a local team; win further work and ensure projects meet standards.
• Oversee procurement, forecasting and collaboration with commercial team.
• Report to board level on project and regional performance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
