You will lead delivery across commercial, healthcare, education and industrial sites, managing programmes, budgets and subcontractors to ensure projects meet safety and specification.

The role demands a strong commercial and technical background in electrical projects, with SMSTS and ECS/CSCS qualifications preferred.

Build Recruitment are currently working with an established contractor who are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team in Plymouth.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a strong commercial and industrial background, working across a varied portfolio of projects including universities, healthcare, commercial and industrial sites.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the successful delivery of electrical projects from pre-construction through to completion, managing the programme, commercial performance, subcontractors and site teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing electrical projects from start to finish.
• Coordinating subcontractors, engineers and site teams.
• Managing project budgets, procurement, variations and programmes.
• Working closely with clients, consultants and project teams.
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification.
• Managing multiple projects across commercial, healthcare, education and industrial environments.

About You

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager who can demonstrate:

• Proven experience delivering commercial and industrial electrical projects.
• Experience working within complex or technically demanding environments.
• Strong commercial and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and client management abilities.The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Relevant electrical qualifications.
• SMSTS and ECS/CSCS required
