Job summary

Landmarc is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to support Defence training facilities across the CPTA sites in the Kent region. You will perform electrical maintenance, repairs and installations, ensuring compliance with IET Wiring Regulations and safe working practices.

The role requires a Level 3 electrical apprenticeship (NVQ/SVQ), BS7671 18th Edition, and BS2391 testing. A full UK driving licence and willingness to be on call are essential. Company van and fuel card provided.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations to IET Wiring Regulations.
• Ensuring all work complies with IET Wiring Regulations and safe systems of work.
• Managing planned, reactive, statutory, and mandatory tasks.
• Ensuring Health & Safety compliance and safe systems of work.
• Using IT systems and records to complete documentation.
• Collaborating with colleagues and site contacts to deliver seamless service.
• Participating in an on‑call rota (1 in 4 weeks) with overtime/TOIL.

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you’ll help keep critical Defence training facilities safe, compliant and fully operational across the regional training areas (CPTA sites). This is a varied, hands‑on role where no two days are the same, working with a team that values high standards, reliability and a proactive approach. Your work directly supports the safe running of essential military training environments.

What You’ll Do

• Carrying out electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations in line with IET Wiring Regulations
• Ensuring all work meets IET Wiring Regulations and safe systems of work
• Managing a mix of planned, reactive, statutory, and mandatory tasks
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and safe systems of work
• Using IT systems and manual records to complete accurate documentation
• Working closely with colleagues and site contacts to deliver a seamless service
• Being part of an on‑call rota 1 in 4 weeks (overtime/TOIL applicable)

What We’re Looking For

• BS2391 or equivalent (Inspection & Testing)
