Job summary

Landmarc Solutions is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to keep Defence training facilities safe and compliant. You will perform electrical maintenance, repairs and installations across CPTA sites, following IET Wiring Regulations and safe systems of work.

The role is permanent with standard hours and travel across CPTA sites, plus benefits such as a company van and fuel card. You should have an NVQ/SVQ Level 3 electrical apprenticeship and BS7671 18th Edition.

Qualifications

• NVQ/SVQ Level 3 electrical apprenticeship.
• BS7671 18th Edition compliance.
• BS2391 or equivalent (Inspection & Testing).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations in line with IET Wiring Regulations.
• Ensuring all work meets IET Wiring Regulations and safe systems of work.
• Managing a mix of planned, reactive, statutory, and mandatory tasks.
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and safe systems of work.
• Using IT systems and manual records to complete accurate documentation.
• Working closely with colleagues and site contacts to deliver a seamless service.
• Being part of an on‑call rota 1 in 4 weeks (overtime/TOIL applicable).

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you’ll help keep critical Defence training facilities safe, compliant and fully operational across the regional training areas (CPTA sites). This is a varied, hands‑on role where no two days are the same, working with a team that values high standards, reliability and a proactive approach. Your work directly supports the safe running of essential military training environments.

Role details

• Salary: £37,115.94 – £41,569.85
• Location: Hythe Ranges, Reachfields, Hythe, Kent
• Contract: Permanent, Mon–Thurs 08:00–16:00, Fri 08:00–15:30
• Travel: Required across the regional training areas (CPTA sites)
