South East Water UK is seeking an electrically qualified technician to maintain, repair and install electrical systems across our pumping stations, reservoirs and treatment works to keep the water flowing.
You will supervise contractors and manage control panels, pumps and monitoring equipment, respond to breakdowns, and uphold safety standards and SOPs. A Level 3 NVQ Diploma or equivalent, industrial experience, a UK driving licence, and solid IT record-keeping are essential.
Are you an electrician, looking for a role where your technical skills actually make a difference to your local community? Do you want to work for a company that values your expertise while respecting your time away from work?
At South East Water, we provide an essential service, and our production sites are the heart of that operation. This isn’t just another maintenance job; it’s a chance to take ownership of complex electrical systems across our pumping stations, reservoirs, and treatment works.
We are particularly keen to hear from those with industrial experience—we need people who understand the scale and pace of maintaining our sites. Whether you are a seasoned pro looking for a better work life balance, or rising talent eager to apply your industrial knowledge to vital infrastructure, you’ll find a supportive environment here.
You’ll be the go to person for keeping our water flowing, maintaining everything from control panels to high capacity industrial pumps. It’s challenging, varied, and vital work where no two days are the same. This will involve maintaining and installing electrical systems and equipment such as control panels, pumps, motors, water quality analysers, and chemical dosing equipment. Additionally, this role will respond to breakdowns, oversee the work of contractors, and perform necessary repairs and enhancements.
As a member of our electrical team you will ensure our water keeps flowing by maintaining, repairing, and installing everything from intricate control panels to high-capacity industrial pumps. No two days are the same in this varied and vital position.
We need a proactive, highly organised individual who can work confidently under their own direction.
We know the communities we serve are diverse. We recognise creativity comes from diversity not similarity. That’s why we are enthusiastic about creating inclusion across age, race, gender, ethnicity, religion and identity. You will experience our dedication to equal opportunities and fair treatment for all: through your recruitment, employment and career progression with South East Water.
