Job summary

Anglian Water seeks an Electrical Asset Technician to install, maintain and control diverse electrical equipment across water treatment and distribution facilities. The role covers Grimsby, Brigg and wider Humber areas, with a 37-hour week and flexibility for part-time work where needed.

You will work on calibrating analytical equipment, investigate asset trends, and support internal teams and contractors while using electrical drawings to troubleshoot issues and ensure continuous water supply.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 electrical qualification and completion of an electrical apprenticeship.
  • Strong health and safety focus.
  • Industrial electrical experience and standby/overtime availability.

Job description

£45,760 plus overtime and standby payments, with opportunity for pay progression up to £60,000.

Business use of company van, tools and PPE equipment.

Permanent, Full time, 37 hours per week, with flexibility for part time.

Location: covering Grimsby, Brigg, and wider Humber areas.

Key responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for wiring, installing, maintaining and controlling the high diversity of electrical equipment necessary to treat and distribute water.

What does it take to be an Electrical Asset Technician?
  • Level3 electrical qualification AND Completed an electrical apprenticeship
  • Strong health& safety focus

  • Ability to work standby‑by and overtime as necessary
  • Carrying out planned& reactive maintenance on our electrical assets
  • Work towards a Licence to Operate Qualification to enable you to operate and maintain water treatment assets and processes
