Placements24 is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to oversee the reliability of electrical systems in Randburg. You will lead technicians, implement preventive maintenance, and respond to breakdowns to keep production running safely.
The role requires a National Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering and at least five years in industrial maintenance, with strong knowledge of motors, control circuits, and instrumentation.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years in electrical maintenance in industrial settings.
- Experience with LV/MV systems and control panels.
- Able to lead and train technicians and ensure safety compliance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, machinery, and control panels.
- Supervise and train maintenance technicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance schedules.
- Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
