Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a building services team at a law firm by Cannon Street. The role involves delivering PPMs and reactive maintenance on site, ensuring electrical systems and building services run smoothly.

You will work closely with the on-site maintenance team, with responsibilities spanning lighting, emergency lighting tests, control panels, BMS monitoring, and routine log book updates.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities/building services maintenance.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety standards.
• Ability to work in a client-facing role and document work clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and general maintenance tasks on site.
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks.
• Inspect and test electrical equipment and emergency lighting as required.
• Update and maintain log books with accurate records.
• Assist with control panels and building management systems (BMS) monitoring.
• Respond to on-site issues promptly to minimise disruption.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer - FM Service Provider - Cannon Street - Up to £46,600 - Tenant's Side

An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based in Cannon Street has arisen! CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be based in a law firm located right by Cannon Street station. He or she will be required to carry out PPMs and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team on site.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in electrical and general building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £46,600, overtime, further training, and a potential route into further career progression.

Hours of work

• Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 19:00pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
• Emergency lighting tests
• Control Panels
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
• Maintain and update Log books
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
• Pumps, motors

Requirements

• Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2&3 (Required)
• 18th Edition (Required)
