CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a high-end residential building in Kings Cross. The role involves electrical planned and reactive work on a static site, collaborating with the on-site maintenance team, and ensuring safety and reliability of electrical and ventilation systems.

The ideal candidate will have Level 2 electrical qualifications, 17th/18th Edition, and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

Qualifications

• Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2 (Required).
• 17th/18th Edition (Required).
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lighting tasks including fault-finding and lamp changes.
• Emergency lighting tests and maintenance.
• Control panels and electrical distribution equipment.
• Changing Ballast and related components.
• BMS monitoring and system checks (hot/cold).
• Maintenance of log books and site records.
• Plumbing tasks such as unblocking toilets as needed.
• Monitor mechanical plant and associated pumps, motors and seals.
• Inspect cooling towers and air handling units (filters, cleaning).
• Water treatment responsibilities.
• General building fabric upkeep and contractor liaison.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Kings Cross - High-end Residential - Up to £45,000

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Property company based near Kings Cross. CBW are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be based in a high-end residential building located in Kings Cross. The successful candidate will be a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a proven track record in commercial/property building maintenance.

He or she will be required to carry out Electrical planned and reactive maintenance across this static site. Working with the maintenance team on-site. He or she will be required to have an understanding/hands-on experience of the below. • Up to £45,000 per annum

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lighting (small installations, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
• Emergency lighting tests
• Control Panels
• Changing Ballast
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
• Maintain and update Log books
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
• Monitor the mechanical plant
• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
• Cooling Towers
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Water Treatment
• General building fabric
• Escort specialist subcontractors

Hours of work

• Monday to Friday (40 hour week)
• 08:00 am to 17:00 pm

Requirements

• Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2(Required)

• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
