Job summary

Cambridge Maintenance Services Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical maintenance engineer to join our team. You will deliver planned and reactive maintenance across a client portfolio, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently while providing an exceptional service.

You will perform PPMs, diagnose faults, coordinate with the Lead Engineer, and participate in out-of-hours on-call as required. A full UK driving licence and relevant electrical qualifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of M&E building services.
• Relevant Electrical Installation qualification (e.g. City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent).
• Inspection & Testing qualification (2391-52).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to clients, ensuring work meets contractual requirements.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive maintenance.
• Diagnose and rectify faults, arrange equipment replacements to minimise downtime.
• Complete quality inspections and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain records using the Elogbooks facilities management system.
• Coordinate schedules with Lead Engineer and Support Desk Supervisor.
• Participate in out-of-hours emergency call-out rota.
