Job summary

Cambridge Maintenance Services is seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer to join the maintenance team. You will provide planned and reactive maintenance across client contracts, ensuring the highest standards of service across electrical plants.

Essential qualifications include Electrical Installation certification and City & Guilds 2391, with a valid driver's licence. You will work across sites, undertake out-of-hours cover when required, and contribute to ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Understanding of M&E services.
• Electrical installation certification.
• City & Guilds 2391.
• Driver's licence required.
• Strong fault-finding and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in diverse environments.
• Methodical record keeping.
• Ability to understand and analyse electronic systems.
• Hands-on approach and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Provide a quality service at all times to nominated clients per contract.
• Work to recognised industry standards at all times.
• Carry out physically demanding tasks as needed.
• Manage Elogbooks for sites/locations.
• Carry out quality inspections.
• Ensure reactive maintenance is responded to immediately.
• Fix faults on site or arrange replacement equipment.
• Participate in out-of-hours emergency cover.
• Liaise with Lead Engineer & Support Desk to plan maintenance programme.
• Maintain personal and professional development and training.
• Undertake other duties as directed by Lead Engineer.
• Adhere to health and safety laws and policies.
