Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd seeks an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join a leading manufacturing firm in Wrexham. You will maintain, repair and troubleshoot complex equipment, ensuring minimum downtime and smooth production.

The role involves a double day shift with an occasional weekend in 4, and an active part in continuous improvement projects. Industrial experience and PLC fault finding are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a strong electrical bias within a multi-skilled maintenance role.
• Experience with PLC fault finding.
• Experience with 3-phase electrics and hydraulics/pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth operations.
• Lead or support continuous improvement projects.
• Work within a team of engineers and cover on-call/shift requirements.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Multi-Skilled

Location: Wrexham

Salary: Basic up to £44,000 plus Benefits (Will also get a £2,000 Call Out Allowance which is 1 week in 4)

Shift: Double Days (Earlies & Lates), Will work 1 Weekend in 4 but get time off during the week

• Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias.


• Hold some form of Electrical qualification.

Requirements

• Ideally worked within a manufacturing environment previously.


• Worked to 3-Phase Electrics as well as sound hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge and experience.


• Have Industrial Control Panel Experience


• PLC Fault-Finding experience.


• Be a self-starter as well as a team player.


• Be willing to work a Double Days shift and 1 Weekend in 4.
