Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading FM service provider at a prestigious Belgravia estate in London. You will handle planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across a range of electrical building services, ensuring the estate is kept to the highest standards.

The role offers Monday to Friday hours, 8:00am–5:00pm, with a competitive salary up to £47,000 plus 25 days’ leave, pension and ongoing training to support

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 3 / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 18th Edition qualification
• Experience in commercial building maintenance or facilities management
• Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience
• Basic mechanical knowledge and a multi-skilled approach
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• The ability to provide copies of relevant trade qualifications

Responsibilities

• Planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across building services
• Fault finding and repairs across electrical systems
• Maintenance of lighting and emergency lighting systems
• Testing and inspection of electrical equipment, distribution boards and power supplies
• Basic BMS monitoring and operation
• Responding to electrical breakdowns and reactive maintenance requests
• Carrying out basic mechanical and building fabric duties when required
• Escorting and supervising specialist subcontractors
• Completing accurate maintenance records and job sheets
• Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with regulations

The Role
