Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a commercial building in Hursley, Hampshire. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance on site, with a basic salary of up to £38,000 and potential overtime.

A route into further career progression is also offered. Candidates should be electrically qualified (City & Guilds L2/3), hold the 18th Edition, have a UK driving licence, and be able to supply trade certificates.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider - Commercial Building – Hursley, Hampshire – £38,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an established FM service provider based in Hursley, Hampshire! CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer based in a commercial building in Hursley, a short distance from Southampton.

He or she will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across this site.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £38,000, overtime, further training and a potential route into further career progression.

Package & working hours

• A basic salary of up to £38,000
• Monday to Friday - 08:00 am - 17:00 pm
• 1 in 4 call-out £280 a week

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
• Emergency lighting tests
• Control Panels
• Changing Ballast
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
• Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
• Maintain and update Log books
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
• Pumps, motors
• Compliance and logbooks
• Chillers and pressurisation units
• Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
• Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
• Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
• Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
• Report service affecting issu e to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
• Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
• Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.

Requirements

• Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2&3
• City & Guilds - 18th Edition
• UK Driving licence
• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
