Job summary

King's Cross, London-based Electrical Maintenance Engineer role on a prestigious commercial site. This static, Monday to Friday position offers a strong work‑life balance with no call-out rota.

You will deliver PPM and reactive maintenance across electrical and building services, diagnose faults, ensure compliance, liaise with subcontractors, and provide a high level of service to the client with ongoing training and career progression.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Installations.
• 3+ years' experience in commercial building maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding ability and proactive approach to maintenance.
• Good communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive and reactive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently.
• Maintain and service single and three-phase power, emergency lighting, fire alarms, BMS, AHUs, FCUs, generators, and VRV/VRF systems.
• Complete basic water hygiene duties, including temperature monitoring, tap tests, dosing, and cooling tower checks.
• Keep maintenance records, logbooks, and compliance documentation up to date.
• Supervise specialist contractors and support planned maintenance activities.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with the client and site team.

An excellent opportunity has become available for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a prestigious commercial site in King's Cross. Working for a well‑established building services provider, you'll be part of a professional team maintaining a high‑profile building while benefiting from ongoing training and genuine career progression.

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of electrical and building services systems. You will diagnose faults, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, liaise with subcontractors, and provide a high level of service to the client.

Key Responsibilities

• Apprenticeship background desirable but not essential

Salary & Benefits

• £50,000 £55,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm
