Job summary

Pioneer Selection has a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in the West Midlands. You will join a well-established heavy industrial manufacturing environment, carrying out electrical maintenance, fault finding and preventative maintenance on production equipment.

The role offers a Monday to Friday days pattern (8:00am - 4:30pm), a 39-hour week, and a salary up to £40,300 plus company pension and life assurance.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance on industrial plant.
• Strong hands-on electrical fault-finding.
• Experience with motors, drives, control panels, sensors and electrical distribution systems.
• PLC fault-finding experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance across industrial plant and production equipment to maximise reliability and safety.
• Perform fault finding and breakdown repairs on production equipment.
• Plan and execute preventative maintenance schedules to minimise downtime.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience carrying out planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance on industrial plant.

Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Strong hands-on electrical fault-finding experience.
• Recognised Electrical Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship or equivalent).
• Experience working within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
• Knowledge of motors, drives, control panels, sensors and electrical distribution systems.

Desirable Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• PLC fault-finding experience.
• Welding or fabrication experience would be advantageous.
