Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a heavy industrial manufacturer in the West Midlands. You will perform electrical maintenance, fault finding and planned preventative maintenance on a range of industrial plant to maximise reliability and safety.

This 39-hour, Monday–Friday role offers a stable environment, a strong focus on training and development, and long-term career prospects within a well‑established company.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience carrying out planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance on industrial plant.
• Strong hands-on electrical fault-finding experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding and planned maintenance across industrial plant and production equipment.
• Ensure maximum reliability, safety and operational efficiency of equipment.
• Maintain a stable 39-hour, Monday–Friday shift pattern.

Non‑Negotiable Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience carrying out planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance on industrial plant.

Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Strong hands‑on electrical fault‑finding experience.
• Recognised Electrical Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship or equivalent).
• Experience working within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
• Knowledge of motors, drives, control panels, sensors and electrical distribution systems.

Desirable Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• PLC fault‑finding experience.
• Welding or fabrication experience would be advantageous.
