Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd. is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a heavy industrial manufacturer in the West Midlands.

The role focuses on electrical maintenance, fault finding and preventative maintenance across plant and production equipment to maximise reliability and efficiency. The successful candidate will have hands-on electrical fault-finding experience, a recognised qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent), and experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Strong hands-on electrical fault-finding experience.
• Knowledge of motors, drives, control panels, sensors and electrical distribution systems.
• Recognised Electrical Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance across range of industrial plant and production equipment.
• Perform fault finding and planned preventive maintenance to maximise reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure safety compliance and minimise downtime through proactive maintenance.

Shift: Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 4:30pm | 39 Hours per Week

Non‑Negotiable Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience carrying out planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance on industrial plant.

Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Strong hands‑on electrical fault‑finding experience.
• Recognised Electrical Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship or equivalent).
• Experience working within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
• Knowledge of motors, drives, control panels, sensors and electrical distribution systems.

Desirable Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• PLC fault‑finding experience.
• Welding or fabrication experience would be advantageous.
