Job summary

Accelerated People Management are supporting a Leeds-based manufacturing employer in recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer. The role focuses on fault finding, automation and reliability to improve equipment performance alongside planned and reactive maintenance.

You will work with PLCs, drives and sensors, and bring specialist electrical knowledge to a highly automated production environment. Level 3 Electrical/Engineering qualification is required.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Leeds

£50,000 - £60,000 + Optional Overtime + Training + Progression + Market Leader

A fantastic opportunity for Electrical Maintenance Engineers looking to take their career further within manufacturing. This is ideal for an engineer who enjoys getting to the bottom of difficult faults, working with automated machinery and improving equipment reliability rather than simply keeping production running. Whether your strengths lie in electrical fault finding, PLCs, controls or continuous improvement, I’m keen to speak with engineers who want to put their technical abilities to good use.

I work closely with established manufacturing businesses where engineering plays a critical role in production performance. I’m particularly interested in electrical maintenance engineers who can bring specialist electrical knowledge, solve recurring equipment issues and contribute to improvements across increasingly automated production environments.

Your Role as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer could include:

• Electrical fault finding on production machinery
• PLC and control system diagnostics
• Planned and reactive maintenance

The successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer will have:

• Electrical or multi-skilled maintenance experience
• Manufacturing or industrial engineering background
• Strong electrical fault-finding abilities
• Experience with PLCs, drives, motors or sensors
• An interest in reliability and continuous improvement
• Level 3 Electrical / Engineering qualification
