Job summary

Questech Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a well-established heavy manufacturing business in Darley Dale.

This hands-on role keeps machinery and equipment running safely and efficiently in a high-volume production environment, reducing downtime. You’ll perform planned, preventative and reactive maintenance, with PLCs, motors and drives, in a safety-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent.
• Maintenance experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with 3-phase systems, motors, drives and control systems.
• PLC experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Planned, preventative and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Fault-finding and repair of production machinery and industrial equipment.
• Working with PLCs, motors, drives, sensors and control panels.
• Responding to breakdowns and reducing production downtime.
• Supporting installations, modifications and continuous improvement projects.
• Completing electrical testing, inspections and maintenance records.
• Working safely and in line with relevant electrical regulations.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Darley Dale | Salary: Up to £52,000 + Shift Allowance & Overtime

We’re recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established heavy manufacturing business based in Darley Dale.

This is a hands-on role working in a busy, high-volume production environment, where you’ll be responsible for keeping machinery and equipment running safely and efficiently while minimising downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Planned, preventative and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Fault-finding and repair of production machinery and industrial equipment.
• Working with PLCs, motors, drives, sensors and control panels.
• Responding to breakdowns and reducing production downtime.
