Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd in Kingston is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a static commercial site. You will perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance, cover lighting, power distribution, and control panels, and work as part of a professional engineering team.

This role offers a Monday–Friday 08:00–17:00 schedule, up to £45,000, overtime opportunities, and a clear path for training, development and long-term progression within a stable FM service provider.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 & 3 Electrical or equivalent required.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations knowledge essential.
• Experience in commercial building maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding skills on electrical systems.
• Understanding of mechanical and general building services.
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance
• Electrical fault-finding, lighting, power distribution and control panels
• Emergency lighting and fire alarm testing
• BMS monitoring and plant checks
• Maintenance of AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors and associated plant
• Minor plumbing and general fabric maintenance
• Complete maintenance records and compliance documentation
• Diagnose and resolve faults across building services
• Escort and supervise specialist contractors

ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER FM SERVICE PROVIDER | KINGSTON | UP TO £45,000 + PACKAGE

Are you an electrically qualified engineer looking for a new opportunity in Kingston?

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join an established FM service provider working on a static commercial contract in Kingston.

You'll be part of a professional engineering team responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of a commercial building, carrying out electrical maintenance alongside a range of general building services.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer looking to join a stable contract with overtime available, ongoing training and development, and genuine long-term progression opportunities.

THE ROLE

• Monday - Friday
• 08:00 - 17:00
• Static commercial site
• Up to £45,000
• PPM & reactive maintenance
• Electrical and general building services maintenance
• Client-facing role

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance
• Electrical fault-finding, lighting, power distribution and control panels
• Emergency lighting and fire alarm testing
• BMS monitoring and plant checks
• Maintenance of AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors and associated plant

• Maintain excellent health & safety standards
• Liaise professionally with the client and site management
