Job summary

CBW in Lewisham is seeking an Electrical Day Shift Engineer to join a healthcare environment, delivering electrical, mechanical and fabric maintenance on site.

You will carry out duties with an electrically biased background (NVQ/C&G/18th Edition) and a proven track record in building maintenance. The role is day shift, 4 on 4 off, with opportunities for HV training.

Qualifications

• NVQ/C&G Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent.
• Proven track record in building maintenance.
• Good communication and leadership abilities.
• Multiskilled: mechanical and electrical.

Responsibilities

• Air Conditioning – AHU/FCU: filter changes and cleaning.
• Monitor mechanical plant and pumps/motors.
• Carry out plumbing tasks such as unblocking toilets.
• Work with water treatment and HVAC systems.
• Operate and monitor BMS system (hot/cold).
• Complete allocated tasks timely and professionally.
• Identify faults and report/escalate safety issues.

Electrical Day Shift Engineer - FM Service Provider - Hospital - Lewisham - £48,900

A Fantastic opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in Lewisham. CBW is currently looking for an Electrical Day Shift Engineer to be based in a Healthcare environment in Lewisham. The successful candidate will be Electrically biased (NVQ, C&G, 18th Edition etc) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

Working with the maintenance team on-site, He or she will be required to carry out electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance to the following. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of £48,900 for further training and career progression.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Monitor the mechanical plant
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
• Pumps, motors
• Water Treatment
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
• Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
• Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
• Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
