Job summary

NG Bailey Group Limited is seeking an Electrical Lead Planner to head the Electrical Construction Planning team on the Hinkley Point C project in Bridgwater. You will coordinate schedules, ensure construction readiness, manage risks and interfaces across MEP disciplines, and report progress to key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading a planning function on large MEP projects, preferably regulated environments; ideally nuclear sites.
• Relevant MEP engineering qualifications; HNC/HND in electrical field preferred.
• Previous experience leading planning personnel and site-based planning roles.
• Dedicated site experience in planning on complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of Primavera/Asta PowerProject and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Electrical Construction Planners to ensure planning aligns with contract obligations, internal processes and legislation.
• Facilitate integrated planning meetings with stakeholders to develop and maintain schedules.
• Coordinate four-week lookaheads and contribute to 16-week lookahead planning.
• Ensure activities entering the four-week window are mature and ready for construction.
• Produce clear progress reports for all stakeholders and monitor against the project plan.
• Perform time/risk analysis against programmes with project/discipline leads.
• Manage interfaces with mechanical, HVAC, civil and commissioning activities.
• Provide health and safety leadership to maintain safety as a priority.
• Develop a contract baseline programme with project personnel and external customers.
