Job summary

NG Bailey Group Limited is seeking a senior electrical leader to drive the electrical discipline on major projects at Hinkley Point C and similar regulated sites. You will lead, mentor and integrate with joint venture teams while ensuring safe, compliant delivery of electrical systems.

This role requires extensive experience in nuclear or regulated sectors, EPC delivery, and P&L responsibility, with a track record of successful leadership across large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Relevant Professional Accreditation (PM, Construction, Electrical Engineering) and extensive experience installing electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the Electrical Discipline Team through Best Practice.
• Ensure safe working practices and CDM regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with MEH Alliance departments and HPC stakeholders on construction matters.
• Comply with Site Licence Conditions and QA, support as-built surveys and Lifetime Records.
• Provide mature, approved site construction delivery plans.
• Represent electrical discipline at client site interfaces.
• Contribute to budget and schedule delivery for your area.
• Investigate non-conformances and foster a learning organisation.
• Focus on team performance, training, mentoring, and JV integration.
• Assess practicalities and risks of construction activities using core engineering skills.
• Keep IMS documentation complete and updated.
• Produce monthly/weekly reports for upward review.
• Carry out productivity reviews and report findings.
• Identify additional workstream opportunities on-site for electrical systems.
• Experience delivering at leadership level in JV/alliance contexts.
• Proven track record on large-scale nuclear/EPC projects with P&L responsibility.
