Job summary

East Kent Colleges Group seeks a hands-on Skills Practitioner for the Built Environment workshops. You will share industry knowledge, support tutors, and help learners develop practical skills and confidence, enabling them to succeed in a dynamic education setting.

You will ensure safety, manage workshop stock, assist in prep, and provide constructive feedback to students, contributing to an outstanding learning experience in a welcoming college environment.

Qualifications

• Support learners through practical tasks in workshop
• Have a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installations
• Have some industry experience in electrical sector

Responsibilities

• Monitor and promote Health & Safety practices within workshop sessions
• Order, organise, and issue stock and supplies to keep sessions running smoothly
• Assist in workshop preparation
• Provide constructive feedback and support to students
