Job summary

East Kent Colleges Group is seeking a motivated Skills Practitioner to support staff and students in hands-on, workshop-based learning. You will liaise with colleagues and partners, ensuring sessions are well‑organised, safe and well‑supplied while helping learners reach their goals.

You will guide learners through practical tasks, provide feedback, and contribute to high-quality teaching and learning in an Ofsted‑backed environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Experience in Motor Vehicle Servicing industry.
• Enjoys supporting others to develop practical skills and confidence.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and promote Health & Safety practices in workshop sessions.
• Order, organise, and issue stock and supplies to keep sessions running smoothly.
• Assist in workshop preparation.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to students.
