DN Colleges Group in Scunthorpe is seeking an Electrical Installation Lecturer to inspire and support students across Electrical Installation programmes, combining practical industry knowledge with innovative teaching methods to prepare learners for rewarding careers in the electrical industry.

Whether you are an experienced lecturer or an industry professional moving into teaching, we can support you in gaining a recognised teaching qualification if you do not already hold one.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or closely related discipline.
  • Minimum Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.
  • Excellent subject knowledge of Electrical Installation programmes and industry practices.
  • Ability to deliver engaging learning experiences and motivate students.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion, with strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment across Electrical Installation programmes.
  • Act as a Programme Tutor, providing academic and pastoral support to a designated caseload.
  • Monitor student progress, attendance and achievement, maintaining accurate records.
  • Develop innovative learning experiences using a range of teaching methodologies and learning technologies.
  • Embed English and Maths within vocational learning to support student success.
  • Build links with industry partners to enhance curriculum delivery and progression opportunities.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, quality improvement activities and Open Days.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and industry-focused Electrical Installation Lecturer to join our Engineering team. Essential Criteria
